Die Plate
The die tooling is formed by hundreds of components, mainly including the die bases, die plates, stripper plate, punch, dies and other components. The main function of the die plate is used to fix the cutting edge, block, guide plate and so on.The hardness of the under die plate is normally HRC58-62.lower hardness will infect the punching quality.the thickness of the die plate is usually 25-40mm.Sometimes,we produce the cutting edge directly from the plate, however,if the cutting edge is broken,it’s hard to repair. We prefer to choose another way by Wire cutting the precision holes with tolerance +/-0.002mm, and add the carbide or tool dies into this hole with tight clearance. All die plates are strictly inspected delivery to make sure the mold assemble successfully.

Influence of Cryogenic Process on Die Plate Processing
With the continuous development of machinery industry, the requirements for metal materials are becoming higher and higher. Cryogenic Process has great advantage to improve the mechanical properties and service life of metal workpiece under the current premise of material and heat treatment process ,
Cryogenic processing is a kind of process the workpiece at a temperature below -130℃ with liquid nitrogen as the refrigerant. Cryogenic treatment can significantly improve the toughness of workpiece without reducing its strength and hardness. Cryogenic treatment methods are divided into liquid method and gas method. Liquid method is to put the workpiece directly into liquid nitrogen, its processing temperature is -150℃, the disadvantage is that the large thermal impact ,sometimes it even causes the workpiece to be broken; The gas method is cooled by the latent heat of liquid nitrogen gasification and cryogenic nitrogen endothermic refrigeration, and the treatment temperature reaches -196℃, the treatment effect is better.
1:Improve the hardness and resistance of the workpiece.
2:Ensure the dimensional accuracy.
3:Improve the workpiece’s wear resistance.
4:Improve the internal stress distribution and fatigue strength.
5:Improve the corrosion resistance of the workpiece.
